Training and trainers
It's been just over a month of following a proper plan and I already feel the difference. Training is going well and I am now running on average two minutes faster per mile.
I did my first seven-mile run last week and have also done a few six-mile ones. The pace and distance picks up this month and so more challenges await!
It still seems a daunting task but not quite as hideously scary as it did a month or so ago. I am not looking forward to the colder weather so treated myself to some fab new trainers, soon to be my best friends!
It's funny how much of a difference it has made emotionally as well. While I am out running and I think about the day itself I am close to tears, goodness knows how I will be on the actual day!
